Once, after my roomate got his new mega-stereo his downstairs neighbors were - yet again - playing their music too loud. So he laid his speakers face down on the floor and blasted them with Beethoven's Fifth ... never had problems for them again.

This is what it's like in my dorm room. Only the *BOOM THUMPA* isn't from a stereo system and it comes from more than one direction.
